The dream
A north-shore cabin that handles November: woodstove, deep porch, a path through evergreens to the dock.
Form follows function
Cabin 184 in dark-stained timber with knotty-pine interiors. Wood-burning stove on a soapstone hearth; thermally broken windows for shoulder-season use. The concept could be arranged around an existing path, subject to a site review.
